Britain’s Leading Digital Membership and Bookings Management Provider to The Fishing Industry On Expansion Path, Thanks to Acquisition
Clubmate, the leading digital membership and bookings management platform specifically designed to support fishing clubs and fisheries, has been acquired by established membership management software company, ClubRight.
Launched by Owen Chapman in 2017, Clubmate has fast established itself as the go-to bookings and membership management system for fishing clubs and fisheries around the UK. Before its emergence into the market, the membership management aspect of the fishing industry was almost 100 per cent paper based. Over the course of the last four and a half years, Clubmate, which is built on ClubRight’s proven management platform, has engaged more than 200 fishing clubs and fisheries, supporting the industry’s move to the digital management of memberships and tickets for more than 50,000 anglers across the UK.
“It’s been an incredible journey so far,” says Chapman, “and there is so much more Clubmate will be able to achieve with the backing, expertise and resource of ClubRight, both within the fishing industry and beyond. I will be joining the ClubRight Board of Directors in the role of Commercial Director, with a remit to continue to manage the Clubmate platform in the fishing industry and to use my expertise to extend ClubRight’s influence into other markets.

Chapman brings with him a team of four who will be integrated into the ClubRight team with a direct report to Chapman.
The acquisition officially took place this month.
