Introducing Clubmate’s New Customer & Sales Support Executive!

We’re excited to announce that the Clubmate Team has grown once again with the addition of Aidan as our new Customer & Sales Support Executive!

Aidan will be assisting with customer support on our Help Desk and supporting the sales team, helping more fishing clubs get started with Clubmate. He’s a keen angler, regularly getting out on the bank and casting a line.

Get to Know Aidan

“Probably like most people reading this, I have a near-on obsession with angling & fishing of all kinds,” Aidan says. “I had my fishing apprenticeship with my neighbour down the road, who was originally a match angler in the 80s but moved to carping in his later years. While carping has a soft spot in my heart, I was taught the match ways of keeping on your feet and moving to the next tactic and bait if nothing is happening, which has put me in good stead with many species.”

Aidan is now an aspiring specimen angler and spent a large amount of time on the river last season. “I decided to target Barbel and, with 25+ blanks under my belt, I finally hooked into one, resulting in a 14.1lb Barbel. I still have to pinch myself to make sure I haven’t dreamt the whole thing up – I’m a very lucky man! Next on the album list is to add a whopping teddy bear-eyed tench.”

Aside from angling, Aidan is a well-rounded individual with a can-do attitude with plenty of experience in client relations and account management; so he’s hit the ground running at Clubmate. “I’m passionate about great customer support and I love building a rapport with clients old and new. I like to help out wherever I can, and if that involves helping members of angling committees save time and get back to fishing, even better!”
